Erin Dyer

Attorney

Erin’s legal career has been guided by a longstanding commitment to helping people navigate some of the most vulnerable and consequential periods of their lives. From representing victims of crime and vulnerable adults to advocating for individuals injured through the negligence of others, Erin has consistently focused her practice on protecting the interests of those who need an experienced advocate. Her estate planning practice continues that work by helping individuals and families prepare for the future and protect the people and assets that matter most to them.

Erin is a native of the greater Seattle area and a graduate of Gonzaga University and Gonzaga University School of Law. She began her legal career as a prosecuting attorney, where she represented victims of crime and developed a particular focus on sexual assault and abuse cases involving children. Erin later served as an Assistant Attorney General, handling civil commitment proceedings involving sexually violent predators, workers’ compensation litigation on behalf of the Department of Labor and Industries, and guardianship matters for Adult Protective Services involving vulnerable adults.

In 2018, Erin returned to Spokane and entered private practice, representing individuals in personal injury and medical malpractice matters. Her extensive litigation experience provides a valuable perspective in her estate planning practice, particularly in helping clients anticipate and avoid disputes and other complications that can arise when an estate plan is incomplete or does not adequately reflect a client’s wishes.

Erin is a Certified Personal Family Lawyer®, an earned designation shared by a network of over 800 estate planning attorneys across the country that share a commitment to relationship-based estate planning and ongoing client care. She believes effective estate planning begins with understanding each client’s goals, values, and circumstances and focuses on developing practical plans designed to provide clarity and work as intended when they are needed most.

When Erin is not in the office, she enjoys traveling, cooking, riding horses and spending time with her beloved fur babies.
