What’s in a name?
Wolff, Hislop, Crockett changes their name.
As Shakespeare famously mused, “What’s in a name?” For us at Wolff, Hislop & Crockett, a name represents not just our identity but also our development. Today, we’re excited to announce a significant milestone in our journey: our firm will now be known as WHC Attorneys.
Why did we change our name?
In 2021 we added Aaron Dunham as a partner. Then in 2022 Jamie Wolff retired and in 2023 Scott Hislop transitioned to an in-house counsel role. And now we have added Rob Wright as our newest partner.
Rather than changing our name to Crockett, Dunham and Wright now, with more changes inevitably coming in the future, we decided to establish a permanent name for our firm.
Our new name, WHC Attorneys pays homage to the foundations laid by our founders while also representing the collective spirit of our entire team. We believe in continuity and the strength of our shared history. But we also believe in innovation, in adapting to the ever-evolving landscape of law.
Accompanying our new name is our new logo, which also pays tribute to our history. The logo subtly resembles a digital clock design, which shows our progression from our former symbol which was an analog clock. It symbolizes the timelessness of our values and the enduring nature of our commitment to legal excellence. It’s a reminder that as time progresses, our core principles remain steadfast.
We’re excited about this new chapter and what it signifies. For our clients, this means a continued dedication to exceptional legal service in litigation and transactions in the areas of business, real estate and estate planning.
We look forward to continuing our journey as WHC Attorneys, building on the strong legacy of Wolff, Hislop & Crockett, and forging new paths in the legal landscape. Thank you for being a part of our story.
