Business Transactions Attorney
Position Overview
This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys serving as a trusted advisor to business owners—providing practical legal counsel, not just drafting documents. You will work closely with existing attorneys in the practice group and play a key role in our growing subscription-based, outsourced general counsel services for business clients.
This position is initially collaborative, with an expectation that you will own client matters over time.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a trusted legal advisor to business owners and closely held companies
- Provide ongoing counsel through subscription and advisory relationships
- Draft, review, and negotiate business contracts and agreements
- Advise on entity formation, governance, and business structuring
- Support transactions as part of broader client relationships
- Coordinate with accountants, lenders, and other professional advisors
- Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals within the practice group
- Deliver practical, real-world legal advice aligned with client goals
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing in Washington
- 3+ years of experience, or LLM with 1+ years of experience
- Experience advising business clients in a non-litigation setting
- Strong judgment, professionalism, and communication skills
Preferred But Not Required
- Experience serving as outside or general counsel to businesses
- Exposure to subscription or advisory-based legal services
- Tax background or familiarity coordinating with CPAs
- Admitted to practice in Idaho

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 – $150,000
- Transparent bonus program based on production
